Every year during the month of February, LPCF invites schools across the state to spread awareness for Congenital Heart Defects. Red and Blue are the designated awareness colors for CHDs. Most schools allow their students to wear a red and/or blue top with jeans or uniform bottoms for a $1 or $2 donation. February 14 is recognized nationally as Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day; however, schools may choose any alternate date if necessary. All donations stay right here in the south central region of our state, helping local families and athletes.
