Pediatric Cardiology Associates

Michael S. Crapanzano, M.D. is a native of Baton Rouge. He received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Louisiana State University. He completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and returned home to open his practice in 1995. Dr. Crapanzano is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in the specialties of pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. He also has a Masters of Healthcare Management from Harvard School of Public Health.

 

R. Lester Hixon, M.D. is a native of Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree and completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Hixon joined Dr. Crapanzano in 1997. Dr. Hixon is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in the specialties of pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.

 

Michael R. Brumund, M.D. grew up in Georgia and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Emory University. He received his Doctor of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Brumund joined Drs. Crapanzano and Hixon in July 2001. Dr. Brumund is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in the specialty of pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. He is also a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology.

 

Wesley L. Davis, M.D. received his medical degree and completed his pediatric residency and cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia/Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Davis is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
