The LPCF Mixed Doubles Tennis Classic and Gala is an annual fundraiser which takes place every spring at the Country Club of Louisiana in Baton Rouge. The LPCF tournament is highly sought after and well-attended by the local professional tennis community. Corporate sponsorships and proceeds from the tournament, gala and auction directly support grants for families.
The LPCF Family Picnic provides a wonderful opportunity to unite local children and families who have similar medical conditions and experiences. This annual event for children with heart disease and/or defects is held every fall at BREC’s Jefferson Hwy. Park in Baton Rouge. All children and their siblings enjoy food, games, crafts, face painting, inflatables and more. The event concludes with a special red balloon release honoring all children battling heart conditions.
The Capital Area American Heart Association Heart Walk provides an opportunity every spring for LPCF families to team up and walk together as a group in honor of their young survivors and angels.
Heart Moms’ Monthly Gathering
Moms from all across the Greater Baton Rouge area who have a child with a congenital heart defect or heart disease gather together for food & discussion in a comfortable environment. This is a great opportunity to connect with other moms who are going through similar experiences so that no mom goes through it alone! For more information, email Lori Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org. More details are posted in our private Facebook group, “LPCF Heart Moms,” so please request to join!
