The LPCF Mixed Doubles Tennis Classic and Gala is an annual fundraiser which takes place every spring at the Country Club of Louisiana in Baton Rouge. The LPCF tournament is highly sought after and well-attended by the local professional tennis community. Corporate sponsorships and proceeds from the tournament, gala and auction directly support grants for families.
The LPCF Family Picnic provides a wonderful opportunity to unite local children and families who have similar medical conditions and experiences. This annual event for children with heart disease and/or defects is held every fall at BREC’s Jefferson Hwy. Park in Baton Rouge. All children and their siblings enjoy food, games, crafts, face painting, inflatables and more. The event concludes with a special red balloon release honoring all children battling heart conditions.
The Capital Area American Heart Association Heart Walk provides an opportunity every spring for LPCF families to team up and walk together as a group in honor of their young survivors and angels.

Heart Moms’ Group Gathering
Moms, if you have a child with Congenital Heart Defects/Heart Disease, plan to join us for our monthly group gathering! We will meet at La Madeleine’s at Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge! A room will be reserved for us in the back of the restaurant. This is a great opportunity to meet other heart moms and get to know one another in a casual environment. Whether you are a “new” or “experienced” heart mom, I hope you will plan to join us! We have 34 seats reserved and I would LOVE to see every one of them filled. For more information or any questions, email Lori Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, if you are on Facebook, be sure to join our private group, LPCF Heart Moms! It’s a great place to get advice and resources from other moms and share your child’s journey, too!
